the owner
Jeremy Tuck, P.E. is a Wyoming native with over 10 years of consulting experience. Jeremy received his degree from the University of Wyoming in 2005 and has been practicing structural engineering since graduation. He has worked on numerous commercial, residential, educational, institutional and industrial projects. Jeremy's experience spans all stages of the design process, from conceptual conversations through construction documents and administration.
Jeremy holds licensure in both Wyoming and Colorado. He is active in local structural and architectural communities, participating as a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Structural Engineers Association of Wyoming (SEAWY), the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado (SEAC) and the American Institute of Architects - Wyoming Chapter (AIAWY).
When Jeremy isn't at his desk or on a job site, he can usually be found outdoors. During the warmer months, Jeremy spends his time off mountain biking, riding motorcycles and backpacking. When the snow falls, Jeremy is sure to be found skiing in Steamboat or touring in the backcountry.
THE ENGINEERS
Dane Hopkin, P.E, S.E. is a Senior Professional Engineer at ESD and he heads up the Cody, WY office and he leads the northern Wyoming effort. He is a Wyoming native and a University of Wyoming graduate with both a B.S. in Architectural Engineering (2008) and a M.S. in Civil Engineering (2012). After earning his bachelor’s degree, Dane moved to Salt Lake City to work for a local firm, designing both commercial and residential structures. He then moved back to Wyoming to pursue a graduate degree and has been in Wyoming growing his skillset ever since. Dane has over 10 years of design experience and has worked on a large variety of projects highlighted by the UW College of Engineering building and the CSU Transitional Medicine Institute building.
When away from work, Dane spends most of his time with his wife and his two daughters, or, on occasion, he sneaks away from the office for a little fly-fishing on the Shoshone River or a quick round of golf.
Jeff Diel, P.E. is a Professional Engineer at ESD and he is the horsepower behind our design effort. Jeff is one of the few that was actually born and raised in Fort Collins, CO. He is a Colorado State University graduate with a B.S. in Civil Engineering (2007). After graduation, Jeff went to work in the pre-cast concrete industry where he learned, firsthand, how projects come to life after construction drawings are issued. Since joining ESD, Jeff has worked on lots of different projects including medical office buildings, churches and custom homes.
Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys spending his time playing golf or taking in a football or basketball game. Like all native Coloradans… Jeff is a diehard Broncos fan.
THE CONTROLLER
Ashley Kaufman is a Wyoming native with extensive finance experience. Ashley earned her bachelors degree from the University of Wyoming in 2009 and went on to achieve her masters in finance degree from the University of Colorado Denver in 2010. She worked for many years in corporate finance, having the opportunity to work in and with many different industries. Budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and financial management are Ashley’s specialties. She loves all things numbers and enjoys telling a story through the company’s finances.
When Ashley is not crunching numbers or creating budgets, you can find her enjoying live music or traveling the world. In her spare time, Ashley also loves skiing and spending time with her husband and their daughter.
